I discussed this with the seller and apparently bezel misalignment is relatively common issue with the watches as the tolerances are measured from 40cm away from the watch - not at a macro level. I find this quite amusing tbh that I've never had this issue with Omega, Breitling or Zenith watches before.

According to hardcore Rolex fans. Misaligned bezel on an $80 mall watch; shoddy manufacturing, absence of workmanship, evidence of poor quality/you get what you pay for. Misaligned bezel on an $8,000 Sub; not a big deal, not actually supposed to align anyhow, alignment is too much to expect for a mass-produced watch/it isn't a Patek after .
